I am a ceramics studio artist in Okemos, Michigan. I work in a home studio.
I was born in Hiroshima, a beautiful big city in Japan.
I received BFA in Craft at The University of The Arts in Philadelphia in 2006. I found my life time passion, ceramics!
My marriage moved me to Michigan. I studied at Michigan States University with Post-Baccalaureate Program in ceramics in 2007.
After finishing the one year intense study, I started working on my own studio.
I joined The Greater Lansing Potter's Guild in 2009. Here I am, back to my own studio in 2010!
I have admired Japanese colorful and distinguish patterns. I often apply Japanese outstanding patterns on my pottery.
I add clay slip patterns, carve designs, or hand paint tedious lines with glazes!
I hope that you will enjoy my work! :)
